作品説明

ふきげんなねこ
このふわふわしたちょっとぽっちゃりな猫は、魚クッキーを抱えています。
どうやら友達の猫たちには分けたくないよう。
いじわるでしょうか？
もしかしたら。でもねこはこの素敵なまるまるとした体型を維持することも大事なんです。

私はぽっちゃりした猫がだいすきです。
病気に成る程に太らせたいわけではないのですが、このもふもふの彼らがお腹いっぱいになってすやすや眠っている姿は、見る人を笑顔にするのではないのでしょうか。
この作品に取り掛かる前、まるいキャンバスを手に入れて何を描こうか考えているときでした。
一緒に暮らす4ひきのうちの１匹（一番ふとった男の子です）がゆっくり、それはゆっくりとごはんを食べて、それからお気に入りのベッドに移動して、眠りにつく様子をじっとみていました。
その一連の動きは、とてもなめらかで、まるで美しい旋律のように感じられたのです。
猫の動きについてはもっとこれからも描くと思います。今回は、このおやつを守るシーン。
この作品はリビングなど憩いの場で見る人を笑顔にすると思います。

A grumpy cat is here.
This fluffy chubby boy is holding a fish cookie, he doesn't want to share this with his friends.
Mean? Maybe, but he has to keep his good and round looking, this is meowingfully important.

I love chubby cat, not that I want to make them sick, but seeing fluffy animals fulfilled and taking nap after a meal, makes people smile I think.
Before started working on this piece, I got this very pretty circle canvas at first time and thinking what to paint, I saw one of my 4 cats, -he is the chubby one- was eating very slowly after other cats finished eating. After taking long time to complete his meal, he went to his favorite cozy bed to take a nap. It was so smooth movement to see, it almost felt like seeing the beautiful melody. I may paint more of cats moment, and guarding snack scene was the choice this time.
This piece definitely will bring smiles and joy to your living area, hopefully somewhere close to dining too.
